 Body
 East Indian Rosewood rich, energetic and warm sound
 Maple bright and crisp sound
 Brazilian Rosewood rich, ringing, energetic, warmer than East Indian Rosewood
 Mahogany fine balance: steady bass, good middle range, voicy treble
 Walnut very similar to mahogany, a bit stronger

 Neck
"Cedro", Spanish Cedar light and strong sound
 Maple sharp sound
 Ebony (from Gabon) warm sound with long sustain
